The Story Has Been Told

I had such a lovely time gifting away last week it was not only so wonderful to give gifts but to remember a time that was not only profound but everlasting in all of hearts and minds.

It has taken me a wee bit of time to decide what route to take with the jewelry I created for my book however, I feel it is now time for the pieces to move on. Each piece I created was done so not only with a specific tale in mind but also for very specific wearable purposes. Pearls, and rhinestones beads and bezels were all carefully selected and searched out for a good bit of time before they found their way into compositions.

Today I took the first step into sharing these with the world in a grander way than on the pages of my book by placing a few in my Etsy Shoppe. While a few will remain with me as they are truly to personal to part with, it is my hope you find joy in those I have listed and those that will be listed very soon.

On a side note tomorrow is the BIG day we journey 13.1 miles, feet donned with sneakers and body covered in wick away material. Stay tuned I am sure I will have a tale to tell.

 

Tales of Adornment - Kits and Signed Copies Available

I am so pleased to offer not only signed copies of my book via my blog but also signed copies and a kit. I thought long and hard about how I wanted to go about selling my own book, going back and forth between offering a charm or wee piece of art. It was while I was looking over my author's copy that the lightbulb popped on. As my book is not only composed of pieces that are linked together via a tale but most importantly it is meant to be a learning tool. 

That said I feel the perfect compilation is composed of not only a signed copy of my book but also two silver hobnail bezels (one round and one oval both designed by my dear friend Susan Lenart Kazmer) as well as a craft size package of ICE Resin which will fill approximately 10 of the bezels like those provided in the kit. All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Tales of Adornment - The Cover is Chosen

It is official the cover of my book "Tales of Adornment"published by Northlight has been chosen and frankly the Designer Ronson has outdone himself and I am thrilled. While the process has been a long one (and I literally have no patience I am so excited) the day is drawing nearer when I can finally proclaim "my book is available for purchase".
