Bits of a Tale Not Completely Told - New Items In My Shop

Forever love words that consumed her. Knowing what would fill her heart the moment she slipped the delicate beauty upon her wrist caused a swirl of anticipation and eagerness.

Forever love was inspired by a piece I created as a Design Team Member for http://www.objectsandelements.typepad.com and is now in my Etsy shop. The elegance of pearls and subtle aged brass marry in this divine piece that speaks of undying love. Pearls and stones in crème and pink combined with muted beads, hand dyed silk ribbon and chain create the perfect adornment to the beloved centerpiece, which has been created with resin and brass finding. A wee dangle falls from the clasp reminiscent of the past.  

As she walked into the sitting room all those present took notice of one thing - the necklace that adorned her delicate and pale neck. The simplicity and bliss of the piece created a stir, whispers of envy filled the air who had gifted it to the young widow they all wondered.

Simple Beauty is composed of a delightful black chain that has been adorned with hand dyed silk ribbon. A side toggle is enhanced with a dangling heart, which makes for a lovely side dangle at the closure. The centerpiece is a custom silhouette charm composed of a sterling silver bezel, filigree backing and vintage rhinestone chain. A wee pearl and two rondelles complete the center ensemble. 

How will the tales end you might wonder...in time I will tell.

A Feather in Her Cap

I have a feeling this lovely lady put a feather in her cap when they told her she should not, perhaps crystal ear bobs also hung from her lobes when it was considered improper. What fun to place this delightful lady full of frills on canvas with a bit of ribbon and crystals to complete the package. As much as I wanted to keep her I've added her to my Etsy store.

Spring has Arrived in My Etsy Store

Spring is here...well at least it has arrived in my Etsy store. I love all of the pastel colors intertwined with the classic images of the Victorian era. I couldn't resist putting it all together to create these ornaments which can also double as a gift tag.

I ask you who can resist a little chick, so sweet and new to the world.

I'll tell you a secret, I lived in the town where Peeps ™ are produced now I have to profess I do not care to eat them however they are pretty cute.

And this I know is no secret I love birds so given the chance to play with them I will...believe, dream, soar and fly words that all create a swirl of enthusiasm.

And really you cannot be surprised that I have restocked the store to include more Regency period goodies that inspire one to write a bit.
