Baking Goodness

I love to bake! Baking for me is not just simply about creating food to eat but creating a memory that will last a life time. This week I have found myself  nestled in my warm kitchen much more than normal (which is good as it is snowing again).

The cookie sheets have been filled and refilled, the mixer has become a constant noise in the background of our day and the butter stash is seriously depleted. Like many families each of us enjoys a different treat. The little man prefers Chocolate Chip Cookies - made with a mix of chips of the small and larger variety.

My Love is all about the Peanut Butter Cookie. Sweet and salty as well as chewy on the center with a hint of crisp butter around the perimeter.

One thing we all agree on - my homemade Roasted Banana Bread. I can honestly say this is the one thing I bake that I cannot stay away from once cool enough to eat. Of course can anyone really resist anything baked with more than a stick of butter, roasted bananas and a crunchy top that has a wee hint of cinnamon?
