There are pieces of music that move my soul in ways that I could never imagine. Hand in hand with this goes tales of love, especially those that for one reason or another never come to fruition or expire due to sad circumstances. Those tales of love that are so deep, so true so encompassing touch me to the core.
One such story has walked with me through my days; touched me and influenced me in ways I can hardly explain. Of course love lost is a theme that touches us as deep in all of us is the fear of loosing love. While my dear Ruth was here last week she adorned my Agnes (who was lacking clothing) with a dress; a dress inscribed with words that haunt, words that touch and words that to this day bring tears to my eyes.
You-my Life-my All-farewell.
Oh, go on loving me-never doubt
the faithfullest heart
Of your beloved
L
Ever thine.
Ever mine.
Ever ours.
There are really no words that can be said after reading such deep passion, longing and loss. Perhaps Ludwig Van Beethoven never knew the legacy he left behind however we all know the brilliance and gift that we all have access to because of him.
